Guided Trophy Moose Hunt

Our guided moose hunts take place in Western Alaska in the Kuskokwim Mountains, Kilbuck Mountains, or the Wood Tic Chick drainage systems. The moose hunting is spot and stalk and/or calling. This hunt has lots of air support and scouting time to ensure the success of your hunt. Few things compare to a big Alaskan moose walking (or charging) out in front of you, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

Moose hunts are 10, 12, or 14 day, 1x1 fully guided hunts. You have the option to turn your moose hunt into a full-blown Alaskan safari, by adding brown bear, black bear, caribou, and wolf. If you choose to add additional species we recommend a 12-day or 14 day hunt.

In support of our moose hunts, we fly moose surveys for fish and game in the off season giving us an intimate knowledge of the animal’s populations, habits, range, gestation cycles, and overall health of the mature bull populations and survival rates.

Renfro's Alaskan Adventures offers only two moose hunts a year, one for each river we float. These hunts are in remote locations which are very difficult to reach, and are only accessible by short field aircraft.

These hunts are not for everyone. They can be physically demanding at times, so we recommend the hunters be in good condition when they arrive. However, if you're the type of hunter this appeals to, the area houses some exceptional bulls. Also if you are interested in a black bear, these areas have high densities and there is a good chance you may be able to shoot one.

There is no additional charge for taking a black bear. We provide the raft, cooler, and air support. You provide everything else. (Satellite Phone Rental Available)
